Online Undergraduate Application Toolkit
The Application toolkit
is an online system which allows potential UoM undergraduate candidates to
input their ‘O’ level and ‘A’ level results and hence get a listing of all
programmes of studies which are on offer at the University, for which they are
qualified.
The Toolkit does not recommend
the best Programmes of Study for a person but provides him/her with relevant
information so that the latter can make an informed and confident choice of
programmes of studies during actual application for programmes of studies for
admission at the UoM.
How to use the Toolkit?
An online manual is
available at the following url:
http://online.uom.ac.mu/toolkit/manual
to help you use the system.
How can the toolkit
guide me?
After inputting the ‘O’ level and ‘A’ level results in the toolkit, the system will process the results and generate a resulting list of programmes of studies for which the person is qualified. The person may then use that information to apply for programmes of studies during the UoM Admissions period.
How marks are
calculated for ‘O’ level and ‘A’ level results?
Go to the UoM website at the following url:
http://www.uom.ac.mu/QA/Recruitment_and_Admission/Select_UndergraduateApplicants.pdf
Will I get a seat
from the resulting list of programmes of studies generated by the Toolkit?
Not necessarily, as
it all depends on number of seats for the particular programme of study.
Is the toolkit the
actual admissions system?
No, the toolkit guides a person to get an idea of which programmes of
studies he/she is qualified, based on his/her ‘O’ level and ‘A’ level results.
